The Betrayal of Macbeth

My artwork showcases the recurring theme of betrayal in Macbeth. this design shows a red splotch which represents the blood of the people that Macbeth had betrayed, like Banquo, Banquo's children, and duncan, the splotch also is shaped like a witches hat to show that the deaths were caused from the witches prophecies. The art has an grainy effect in the entire picture to show that during the murders Macbeth's thoughts were crowded by the prophecy that the witches told him. The artwork is also covered with chess pieces which represent that Macbeth is doing everything just for the temporary illusion of royalty, as he eventually dies and is no longer the king, since hes dead.
